I’m going rogue. I’m in a boulangerie, patisserie, restaurant. Which isn’t an issue. I’m also somewhere that I’ve been before. Again, no issue. I’m writing my blog with my food and beverage beside me whilst my bags rest and my devices charge. But there is nothing different today than most blog entries I write whilst out; whether they be at home or in Paris. Hang on, Paul. You said you were going rogue. What could you possibly be doing now that creates a difference to your usual writing technique?

You’re not showing, still telling. Although if my wrist holds out, for one of the next entries, I may do that. The variation here is that I’m using a BIC 4-colour pen to write rather than a fountain pen. And my wrist immediately knew the difference. I simply couldn’t be bothered to stretch, struggle and sacrifice my packing skills to get a pen from the tin that’s in the bag. Lazy? Yep. Beneficial? Probably not.
I hope either my wrist gets used to the less-easy ink-flowage or I get enough space next time to grab a plume.
