This is, for me, a very heavy-duty episode. I use a few resources to get my information but quite possibly the most important one is the family tree.

There were others and these all remain in the public domain. Finding out where to look was half the “fun” of the researching. There is truly a wide variety of sources to delve into and some came out of the blue like this one, about the battle of Blenheim.

As I often say, I’m not an historian, I prefer to be looked upon – when not in some of my other modes – as a researcher, a finder of facts. So, if you have questions, I’ll do my best to answer them. But there’s no guarantee…
