(109) A Fingerprint in the Eye

Thirteen minutes into the journey and already my right knee is tight.  I’m sat at a table with 3 ladies going to EuroDisney and I can’t straighten my leg.  I may go for a little walk halfway through the journey.  Or a sleep.  My Dolly Mixtures are in my luggage in the rack and my microphone and equipment are on the bag shelf two seats behind me.

The rebranding of Eurostar had done very little aside from an increase in the price of the tickets.  The in-flight cartoons have been updated but the old ones were just as good.  And tickets were cheaper.  Still, progress and all that.

Talking of progress, I’m at a point I’ve never been before.  I’m waiting for The Earful Tower to release an episode.  I’ve finally caught up.  I’m now waiting for the episode starting with the letter T.  No episode yet and I’m moving on to Romancing in Paris with Lily Heise of Je T’Aime… Me Neither fame.  These are a different kind of podcast, whereby there are rarely guests but always facts of romantic Paris.

And I don’t know why we have to alter the passport thing to the ETIAS.  We all walked through with no problems and a new stamp in our passports.  Better than a fingerprint in the eye.
