What would a trip to Paris be without a trip to A&E? But not just one visit. Not even two trips to an A&E. In less than 12 hours, I visited 4 Accident and Emergency departments across 3 London boroughs. All because my eye had a burst blood vessel and the bleeding wasn’t stopping. Long story short, blood pressure, return to the GP in a month and wait for the blood to dissipate.  

Meanwhile, I know it’s been a few months since I’ve written, 2 months. I’ve not updated the blog for 3 months (aside from the podcast episodes) and Instagram is very similar. What has this to do with Paris? Not much, except possibly everything. Okay, rambling over, here is the update. The Blogcast is behind schedule, I’m now ready for 4.10, The Best Bits and as such, I’m at the Betjeman Arms in St. Pancras. This takes me back to Sarah Betjeman as well as the shop Betjeman in Paris when I was there last November.  

This November is the November Monologues session. 3 Novembers, 3 different podcast styles. I have 13 followers on YouTube, 30 followers on Spotify and 336 followers on Instagram. Am I pleased with these numbers? Of course. Imagine standing in a room with 30 people wanting to listen to me talk. Or a gallery with over 300 people turning up to look at my work. 

The hard work is just beginning, though. It’s a race between total financial doom and getting my new business venture up and running. This is the secondary reason for turning up to Paris. I want some actual photos of my products for my actual website. I’m still waiting on the coffee, but the fragrances, both spray and solid, are with me and waiting to be snapped in various Parisian locations. That’s if I can manage to get there in between (or after) recording my monologeous episodes. I think I have 10 – although one is short – to get me through the next season as well as an interview lined up for next week and a non-written as yet) episode about the EES as I’m going through it myself this time. Next time, mid-December, should be with Nev for her birthday.  

I just want to hide the camera on my bag, unnoticed…
